AP Macroeconomics is a college-level course that introduces students to the principles that apply to an economic system as a whole. The course places particular emphasis on the study of national income and price-level determination. It also develops students’ familiarity with economic performance measures, the financial sector, stabilization policies, economic growth, and international economics. Students learn to use graphs, charts, and data to analyze, describe, and explain economic concepts.
Grading Policy
There will be two grading categories, major and minor
Major category is 60 %and Minor is 40%
There will be several types of assessments to the grading system. Each assessment will be assigned as either a Major Category or Minor Category.
Late Assignments
Loss of ten percent every day late
AP United States Government is a first-year college level course that examines the structures, theories and practices that shape our government today. There will be a focus on current events. Students will develop critical thinking skills through the use of relevant charts, graphs, and political cartoons in regard to our political system.
