We're All In for 2026-2027
Dear Babylon Junior-Senior High School Students and Families,We hope you have enjoyed a wonderful summer filled with opportunities to relax, recharge, and spend time with family and friends.
As September approaches, there is a growing sense of excitement throughout Babylon Junior-Senior High School. Behind the scenes, classrooms are being prepared, hallways are being readied, schedules are being finalized, and our faculty and staff are eagerly anticipating the return of our students.
The start of a new school year always brings a sense of possibility. It is an opportunity to set new goals, strengthen friendships, embrace challenges, and create new memories.
Last year was one of growth, achievement, and positive momentum for BHS. Our students excelled academically, artistically, athletically, and through service to others. We also continued strengthening our school culture by focusing on respect, responsibility, engagement, and Panther Pride.
As we begin the 2026-2027 school year, our theme is simple:

All In on supporting one another.
All In on creating a BHS where every student feels connected, challenged, valued, and a true sense of belonging.
Being All In means recognizing that every student, family member, teacher, and staff member plays an important role in making
Babylon Junior-Senior High School a place where everyone can learn, grow, and succeed.
We rise when we challenge ourselves to learn, grow, and strive for excellence.
We lead when we take responsibility, serve others, and contribute positively to our school community.
We inspire when we support one another, demonstrate kindness, and model Panther Pride each day.
Together, we will be All In as we Rise, Lead, and Inspire throughout the 2026-2027 school year.
Whether you are entering seventh grade for the first time, returning as an upperclassman, or beginning your final year as a senior, we encourage you to take advantage of everything BHS has to offer. Join a club. Attend a game. Participate in a performance. Challenge yourself in the classroom. Make new connections. Step outside your comfort zone. Get involved.
Some of the most meaningful experiences students have at BHS occur beyond the classroom walls. The friendships formed, the activities joined, the games attended, the performances celebrated, and the memories created often become the moments students remember most.
What makes Babylon special is not simply our building or our programs. It is our people. It is the relationships that are built, the support students receive from one another and from caring adults, and the shared commitment to helping every student succeed. Together, our students, families, faculty, staff, and community create an environment where students can learn, grow, lead, and succeed.
We are incredibly excited about the year ahead and look forward to welcoming everyone back very soon.

Important Schedule Information
Student schedules will be available on the eSchool Parent Portal beginning today (8/21) at 4:00 p.m.Guidance counselors will be available next week, Monday through Thursday, to assist families with questions or concerns regarding student schedules.
Please review your schedule carefully. While schedules are built thoughtfully to meet graduation requirements, course requests, and staffing considerations, we understand that questions occasionally arise. If you believe there is a scheduling error or concern that requires attention, please contact the appropriate counselor by email. Our counseling team will review requests and respond as quickly as possible.

Staying Connected This Year
As we begin the new school year, we are also working to improve how information is shared with our students and families.
We recognize that important information often arrives through phones, emails, websites, and social media, and that lengthy communications can sometimes make it difficult to find exactly what you need.
This year, we will strive to keep our communications clear, concise, and easy to access. In addition to regular updates, we will be sharing brief informational flyers and graphics on topics such as schedules, student IDs, lockers, cell phones, attendance, transportation, school events, and other important reminders. These resources will be posted in ParentSquare and on our website, creating a library of information that families can easily reference throughout the school year.
In the coming days and throughout next week, we will be sharing additional back-to-school information and reminders. Rather than sending lengthy communications, many of these updates will be provided through brief flyers and graphics that can be quickly viewed on a phone and easily referenced later.
Our goal is simple: provide timely information, reduce information overload, and make it easier for families to stay informed, connected, and All In throughout the school year.
Enjoy the remaining days of summer. We look forward to seeing our hallways filled with students once again and beginning what promises to be an outstanding school year.
