BHS Business Students Take a Trip to Canon USA Headquarters
Babylon Junior-Senior High School DECA and Business Club students recently traveled to the Canon USA Headquarters in Melville, N.Y., where they participated in a panel discussion with Canon employees representing the finance, marketing, HR, product development, and social media departments. After the discussion, the students toured the Canon facility and showroom.
The BHS students earned a spot on the trip through their strong performances in local virtual business competitions. The trip gave the students the opportunity to see first-hand how a multinational corporation like Canon carries out its operations.
DECA, also known as Distributive Education Clubs of America, is an international student organization that prepares high school students for careers in marketing, hospitality, and management. The organization integrates into classroom instruction and inspires learning through dynamic conferences and competitive events.
