In the event of a delayed opening, staff is asked to follow their usual routine in terms of arriving to school. The only reason for a delayed start to the school day is to give faculty and staff extra time to get to school through difficult driving conditions. It allows for a slower, more cautious, and safe commute to school. Teachers are asked to make every effort to arrive as close as possible to the usual start time, keeping in mind that many students arrive early and need to be supervised.
Attached are the special bell schedules to be followed for both a one-hour and a two- hour delayed opening. Teachers should be at their designated a.m. supervisory posts upon arriving to school (whatever time that may be).
Thank you for your assistance in this regard.
