HS Students Sharpen Business Skills at Virtual Enterprise Conference
Six student executives from Babylon Junior-Senior High School’s Virtual Enterprise class recently attended the 2026 New York State Virtual Enterprise Leadership Conference at the Tilles Center at LIU Post. The conference gave the Babylon students the opportunity to showcase their own simulated business and learn about business best practices.
The conference brought together hundreds of students from companies at schools across the region for interactive workshops on leadership, teamwork and decision-making. In breakout sessions, they studied successful companies and worked through real-world business challenges.
The Babylon students will bring what they learned back to their class company, MowMax, a student-run business that sells robotic lawnmowers.
